Interim orthosis for conservative follow-up treatment following Chopart and Lisfranc amputations

Indications:

• diabetic foot syndrome
• PAOD (peripheral arterial occlusive disease)
• used postoperatively following Chopart and Lisfranc amputations

Purpose:

• interim treatment to support normal stump formation
• rear weight-bearing wedge-shaped outer and innersole to support dorsal flexion

Description:

Body Armor^® Pro Term is an interim orthosis for use after Chopart and Lisfranc amputations. Load transmission to the proximal foot is ensured by the wedge-shaped outsole and inner sole. The robust cross-ankle shaft stabilizes both the talocrural and the talocalcaneal joint. The incorporated adjustable air pads allow this orthotic device to be adapted even better to the foot stump situation. The ventral support tongue provides compression over an extended area thanks to the variable closure system.

Body Armor^® Pro Term - Foot Stump Orthosis:

• Can be worn for approximately 10 weeks following an amputation
• The Body Armor^® Pro Term Foot Stump Orthosis is designed without forefoot. The patient cannot roll over it.
• The blue inlay with integrated pump compresses and thus maintains the shape of the stump
• Shell foot lower leg: 90°
• Outsole and insole in dorsal extension
• Available in 2 sizes: M (stump length 16 cm) and L (stump length 19 cm
• can be worn on the right and left
